Doctors’ strike continues for 12th day amid Omicron threat, patients upset in hospitals

NEET PG Counseling 2021: The Omicron variant of Corona discovered in South Africa has now spread to many countries including India. On the one hand, the cases of infected with this variant of corona are increasing day by day in India. At the same time, the strike of resident doctors of Delhi hospitals continues for the 12th consecutive day in protest against the delay in NEET-PG counseling. Due to the strike by the doctors, the patients are facing a lot of problems. Due to the strike, neither emergency is going on in many hospitals nor doctors are seeing patients in OPD.

In fact, due to non-availability of NEET PG counseling, doctors are not being recruited in many hospitals, due to which resident doctors are facing many problems. In view of the stalled recruitment, the Federation of Resident Doctors Association had announced a nationwide strike. At the same time, seeing the strike increasing, the Director General of Health Services Sunil Kumar arrived on behalf of the government to convince the resident doctors, which the doctors who were on strike strongly opposed. Resident doctors, who have been on strike since November 27 for their demands, stopped the OPD as well as emergency services from today due to non-fulfillment of their demands.

Let us inform that even in the hospital RML and Lady Hoarding in the capital Delhi, the resident doctors have closed all types of OPD facility. After which lakhs of patients coming to the hospitals are facing problems. At the same time, even two days ago, the Federation of Resident Doctors had gone on strike in Safdarjung over their demands, but their demands were not fulfilled. After this the resident doctors have closed the OPD and emergency service.
